This patient had done everything she could to lose weight and tone up her abdominal muscles, but still had a very convex abdominal contour. As can be seen in her tummy tuck before and after photos, Dr Dowden performed a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) for her, tightening the skin and cinching her waist effectively. It took about a year for her scar to fade in color.
