Case Details

Tummy Tuck or abdominoplasty, is a surgical procedure to remove the excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen. In addition, the “pooch” caused by laxity of the abdominal muscles can be tightened at the same time as the removal of the excess skin. The surgery takes about 2 to 3 hours to perform. The procedure results in a flatter and trimmer abdomen. This female patient contacted the Barber Center for Plastic Surgery looking for a surgeon to help her get rid of the excess fat she had in her midsection. Dr. Barber did a tummy tuck procedure to give the patient the desired look. As her tummy tuck before and after photos show, her results are excellent.
