Dr. Joel R. Studin, located in Park Avenue, NY, was approached by this patient who was self conscious about the excess fat and skin located on her abdomem. Dr. Studin suggested a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). He informed her of what the procedure entailed, a horizontal incision from one side o f her stomach to the other, removal of excess fat and skin, and tightening of the abdominal wall. She decided to go through with the tummy tuck, and she had great results. The surgery left her with a flatter and younger looking stomach.
