Dr. Gil Epstein

Joining Fort Lauderdale Eye Institute in 1980, Dr. Epstein is a fellowship–trained surgeon in ocular plastic surgery. He is also an accomplished surgeon with special interest in cosmetic laser facial plastic surgery. With his advanced training, he was the first physician in Broward County to be fellowship trained in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Epstein is Board–Certified and is a member of a number of medical associations and societies and a recipient of a number of professional honors. Dr. Epstein comes to FLEI with advanced training in ophthalmic plastic surgery. He completed his fellowship in ophthalmic plastic reconstructive surgery at The Michael Reese Hospital, University of Illinois, 1980. Dr. Epstein served his medical internship at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center from 1975–76 and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Michael Reese Hospital in 1979. Dr. Epstein is fellowship trained. He graduated with honors and was Phi Beta Kappa from Emory University in 1971, and in 1975 he earned his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Epstein is a member of the following medical societies:
