Dr. Dennis Hurwitz is the Clinical Professor of Surgery (Plastic) at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and is the former director of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center in Pennsylvania. He has been recognized as one of America’s Top Physicians for specialist referrals and was the only plastic surgeon in Western Pennsylvania named in the 2001 Castle Connolly Guide. Dr. Hurwitz has innovated new techniques in obesity surgery, and is sought out worldwide, at his Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office for the groundbreaking total body lift surgery.

Dr. Dennis Hurwitz is a diplomat to the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the prestigious American Association of Plastic Surgeons. He is medical director of the University of Pittsburgh Cleft Palate/Craniofacial Center and has the largest active practice of cleft lip and cleft palate patients in the region. Working along with Dr. Hurwitz, is Dr. Siamak Agha-Mohammadi. Dr. Agha received his undergraduate degree at the University of London, England. He was awarded a First Class Honor degree and granted a scholarship to study Medicine at the prestigious University of Cambridge, England. Dr Agha also completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree at Cambridge which resulted in several publications and patents in Gene therapy and Molecular Biology. Dr Agha joined the University of Pittsburgh in 1998 and served as a Faculty in Biologic and Gene Therapy. Dr Agha has completed training in general surgery, aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh where he is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in basic and clinical science.

Dr Agha has a special interest in aesthetic surgical procedures for facial rejuvenation as well as breast reshaping and body contouring. He offers a comprehensive cosmetic and reconstructive approach to brow surgery, eyelid surgery, nasal surgery, and facial aesthetics, breast and body contouring.
