Dr. McMahan
Dr. McMahan did my facelift, forehead lift and eyes . The results were great! I traveled two and half hours to see him and I was not disappointed. The incisions were done so well they were invisible. I have always felt if you look good, you feel good, and if you feel good, you do good. Thank you Dr. McMahan
I entered my first experience with plastic surgery without apprehension or reservation. Dr. McMahan had solid references and I was able to see, first hand, abdominoplasty work he had completed on a friend of mine. This plastic surgery experience for me was good from the initial consultation with Dr. McMahan and the surgical options suggested for my consideration, to the final results.
After weight gain and pregnancy, my stomach muscles had been stretched and fat had accumulated around my abdominal area. I opted for a full abdominoplasty with bilateral hip liposuction. The results were better than I had imagined as I had no complications and a very easy recovery period. I was up and walking the evening of the outpatient surgery. Dr. McMahan's staff provided detailed home care instructions, both verbally and in writing, that were easy to follow. Since the procedure was outpatient, I had someone stay with me for only one day. Discomfort was minimal and recovery was much quicker than I had expected. I returned to my office work in less than 2 weeks. After one year, I have had no problems from the surgery and have had no regrets for my decision to go forward with the abdominoplasty.
I plan to someday schedule another type of plastic surgery that will also lift my confidence and self image as much as this one did. The most amazing part of this experience was the final outcome- I went down four pant sizes and one top size and I feel good about myself and how I can wear a wider variety of well-fitted clothes.
I was very pleased with the outcome of my breast implants and liposuction that Dr. McMahan performed on me. I wanted to get rid of unwanted bulges in my thighs that would not go away with exercise and he did that. I am also much happier with my breast size, I went from a 36A to a 36C, not too big but just good enough to wear things I could not wear before and to make things look nicer on me
I am having James McMahan do my lipo and he is located in Columbus Ohio. I checked him out very well and have seen his work and I just feel good about him.

I searched for a PS for many months before I met Dr. McMahan. He took me in his office and I explained why I was there and what I wanted done. He listened closely and then spent a lot of time talking to me and explained the procedures completely. I felt very comfortable with him. (Not to mention that he was on time!) I didn't wait in his waiting room for any extended period of time - which was very important to me. We then went to an examining room where was given a lovely paper outfit (:)) and he examined me. He told me of any concerns he had and we talked about them at that time. I was convinced that I was doing the right thing and had the right PS.
On September 25th, 2001, I had a full tummy tuck surgery, lipo of my inner thighs, hips and flanks. I am extremely happy with my results. I attribute my happiness with this surgery to my doctor - Dr. McMahan. A qualified, certified surgeon who listens to the concerns and wants of his patients and puts everything into perspective through communication so we can both have realistic expectations. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to make some changes in their life through plastic surgery.
