Over the years, Dr. deLeeuw has actively participated in the teaching program for the surgical residents of the Medical Center of Delaware. He has also been called upon as a presenter for various medical groups, such as the nursing program of the University of Delaware, as well as other professional and civic groups in the area. On the personal side, Dr. deLeeuw’s interests include gourmet food and a love for cooking. For several years he has been a volunteer chef for the March of Dimes Gourmet Gala event.
