Dr. Costanzo does not recommend laser liposuction, such as SmartLipo, Lipo Zap and EZ Lipo. He believes that although he results sound amazing, there may be damage to the skin, traditional liposuction must be done in conjunction, and the laser gives less control and may be applied unevenly. Dr. Christopher Costanzo does recommend wet liposuction. His reasoning is that he believes it gives the correct amount of hemostasis, without the effects of distorting the area. The tumescent technique makes it difficult to see how much fat he is suctioning. Although Dr. Christopher Costanzo does have his opinion, yours is also taken into great consideration.
