Gynecomastia (Male Breast Reduction)

Procedure: This 38 year old male police officer complained of longstanding breast enlargement, which caused him great embarrassment. Before surgery, he would not even wear T-shirts due to his chest appearance. He underwent excision of glandular breast tissue from beneath the nipple using a tiny incision around the areola (the pigmented tissue around the nipple). Liposuction of the breast was then performed, resulting in a flatter, more masculine chest.
