Procedure: This 23-year-old mother of one presented with significant abdominal laxity and soft tissue excess, prominent stretch marks, and rolls involving the upper back and flanks. Abdominoplasty was performed, removing excess skin (including stretch marks) and subcutaneous tissue. The abdominal wall musculature was tightened. Lipsuction of the abdomen and back/flanks was performed. The patient's delight with her surgery motivated her to lose additional weight, which did not adversely affect the results of surgery. Photographs obtained one year after surgery reveal a markedly improved abdominal size and contour, elimination of most stretch marks and elimination of the flank/upper back rolls.
