After substantial weight loss, this woman had a lot of excess skin in her midsection.  She wanted to have a firmer, trimmer appearance to her abdomen.  Knowing Dr. Bruce Barach's stellar reputation with body contouring procedures, this patient made an appointment at his office in Schenectady, NY.  After the consultation, this woman elected to undergo abdominoplasty and liposuction.  Abdominoplasty is more commonly referred to as a tummy tuck.  During a tummy tuck, a plastic surgeon manually tightens the muscles from the abdominal wall and sutures then into place.  They also remove any excess skin for the patient's abdomen.
