Like a lot of people, I've struggled with my
weight as I got older. In October of 1997, I decided to get serious about weight
loss and fitness. I watched what I ate, I exercised regularly and I lost a
significant amount of weight. Unfortunately, there are still some stubborn problem areas that don't want to cooperate, no matter how much I exercise or diet. A lot of people have told me to accept the way I am, or that "All the women in the family are shaped that way." I've worked too hard, walked too many miles on the treadmill, and given up too many desserts to accept that answer! So, in late 1998, I started looking into liposuction. Not as a cure-all, or a substitute for proper eating or exercise, but rather as way to take care of those stubborn problem areas that don't seem to respond to anything else. So, why the website? Well, a good friend of mine had some plastic surgery last year, and when I asked her advice, she told me to check out her website, which is primarily about breast augmentation, but contains lots of plastic surgery information, too. One of the things I liked best about her site was that it gives people the opportunity to share information. So, I asked for her help and here we are! Take a look around.
